Spokesperson for the Atiku/Okowa campaign council, David Bwala has taken a swipe at members of the All progressives Congress, APC, that were okay with the controversial Muslim/Muslim ticket during the presidential polls but are now insisting that a Christian must be the President of the 10th Senate.
He referred to them as hypocrites, stating that it was convenient for them to sacrifice northern minority Christians on a platter of convenience.
In a series of tweets, Bwala wrote that APC members who saw nothing wrong with the Muslim-Muslim ticket should also not complain if a Muslim is made Senate President because to them, religion doesn’t matter.
