Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Makes U-turn, Asks Customers to Disregard Reports of Increase in Electricity Tariff

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company AEDC has withdrawn an earlier memo announcing increase in tariff.

In a Twitter post, it asked its customers to disregard reports that it would be increasing electricity tariffs by July 1.

However, in a statement released on its Twitter handle today, the AEDC said no approval has been granted for increase in tariff.
