As many as five persons have been killed in a horrific accident in Ogun.
They were were crushed to death by a truck on Tuesday night along Epe/Ijebu-Ode Expressway, Ogun State.
An empty white Mack Truck with no registration number had caused the accident, due to excessive over speeding, the spokesperson of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi disclosed.
“An empty Mack truck caused the road traffic accident due to excessive speed. The Mack truck was travelling from Epe, crossed the median and hit into a JB truck moving inbound Epe, and also crushed a commercial motorcycle on the same lane,” he said.

The remains of the victims have been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode.
