INEC, EFCC Appoint 18 Lawyers To Prosecute Electoral Offenders

The lawyers will prosecute electoral offences relating to financial crimes arising from the 2023 general elections.

Eighteen legal practitioners have been appointed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,  and the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC,  to prosecute electoral offenders.

The commissions also appointed two Senior Advocates of Nigeria.

The 18 lawyers – all legal officers of both INEC and the EFCC – will prosecute electoral offences relating to financial crimes arising from the 2023 general elections.
