The electoral body made the announcement via it social media handles.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced a date for presentation of certificates to Adamawa state governor-elect and his deputy.
INEC said the presentation of certificates to Adamawa State Governor-elect, Ahmadu Fintiri, and his Deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta will take place today, 19th April 2023.
The statement reads:
“PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES OF RETURN*
Following the conclusion of supplementary elections nationwide and the declaration of winners, the Commission will present certificates of return to the Adamawa State Governor and Deputy Governor-elect at 3pm today.”
