Hon. Muktar Betera Aliyu, the member representing Biu/Bayo/Shani and Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency of Borno State, was in a closed-door meeting with the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to seek his support for the speakership position of the 10th House of Representatives.
Aliyu has been canvassing support for his speakership aspiration with party members, House of Reps members-elect, former lawmakers and other stakeholders.
In a video made available by his media office on Wednesday morning, Tinubu held Betara’s hand as he led him into the inner room for discussions.
