Photos Of The Victims Rescued By The FCT Police
Twenty-two victims abducted and taken across the borders of the FCT into neighbouring states have been rescued by the anti-kidnapping outfit of the Federal Capital Police Comman.
The commissioner of police for the command, CP Haruna G. Garba, disclosed this during a press conference at the command’s headquarters on Friday, May 5, 2023.
He said a village chief who was part of those abducted on April 7 in Chida village, Kwali Area Council, Abuja, was also rescued during the operation conducted on May 3rd.
“The anti-kidnapping outfit of the command, in a clearance-and-rescue operation in and around Kogi and Nasarawa states and FCT borders, successfully rescued 14 persons, including the village chief of the community, who were abducted by armed bandits at Chida village in Kwali Area Council on April 7, 2023,” the CP stated.
