Sudan War: Fourth Batch Of Nigerians Arrive Abuja From Egypt

The fourth batch of Nigerians, who were evacuated from war-torn Sudan, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday from Aswan International Airport in Egypt.

The first batch of 376 evacuees arrived Nigeria from Egypt on Wednesday night.

The second batch of 130 evacuees arrived in the country from Port Sudan on Friday while the third batch of 132 evacuees arrived on Saturday.

The commission announced the arrival of the fourth batch and shared videos of their arrival via its Twitter handle on Sunday, with the caption, “Another batch of Evacuees: 410 Nigerians that departed Aswan International Airport, Egypt, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 10:30 am local time on May 7 via MaxAir.

“We await the arrival of Air Peace and Azman Air later. The good news is, no Nigerian life has been lost so far.”
