Thief Caught 8 Months After He Stole Phone & Withdrew N500K From Victim Account
Kano state Police Command has arrested a thief, eight months after he stole a mobile phone and withdrew the sum of N500,000 from the victim’s bank account, IGBERETV has learnt.
The news was disclosed on Facebook by an Ogun-based investigative journalist, Tosin, on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He wrote;
“Everyday for the thief but surely one day for the owner. Kudos to Nigeria Police Force Kano State for their cooperation with TMC in getting the culprit of a stolen phone about 8 months ago. Also a sum of 500,000 ( Five hundred thousand naira) was withdrawn through the owner’s phone palm pay account. The process might take so long, but Justice will surely prevail.”
