I was not sacked. No cause for alarm – Labour Party’s Thaddeus Atta confirms Tribunal’s ruling ordering a rerun in Eti-Osa Fed constituency

House of Representatives member, Thaddeus Atta has confirmed the Lagos State National and State House of Assembly Election Petition tribunal’s ruling ordering a rerun in Eti-Osa Fed constituency.

LIB had earlier reported that the tribunal on Monday, September 11, ordered INEC to conduct a supplementary election in the 32 polling units of Eti-Osa within 90 days, withdraw the return certificate issued to Atta, and conduct elections in areas where the election wasn’t held on February 25. read here

In a statement released on social media this morning, Atta, a Labour Party member, stated that he wasn’t sacked and that the court only ordered that a rerun be held in the 32 polling units where elections were not held on February 25, 2023. He assured his supporters not to be worried as there is ‘’no cause for alarm.”
