Lagos govt shuts down lounge in Lekki, locks customers inside(video)
On Sunday night, authorities from the Lagos State Government took action to close a lounge located in the Lekki region of the state, abruptly interrupting the enjoyment of customers who were present at the establishment at that time.
These officials introduced themselves as employees of the state’s Ministry of Environmental and Water Resources and instructed the patrons to vacate the premises as it was slated for closure.
The lounge, along with other establishments in the vicinity, was sealed off due to multiple violations of environmental regulations, as stated by the State Commissioner for Environmental and Water Resources, Wahab Tokunboh.
