Man allegedly stabs his wife to d@ath over misunderstanding in Benue community
A man identified as Bem Matthew, has allegedly stabbed his wife to death over a misunderstanding in Benue State.
It was gathered that the incident happened at Korinya City in Konshisha Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2023.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but an eyewitness said the man confessed to stabbing his wife because she was no longer submissive to him.
It was also gathered that the wife was pregnant and the couple already had two children.
The witness further disclosed that the deceased was stabbed in the rib, back and thigh.
The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the mortuary of Saint Joseph’s Clinic and Maternity, Korinya City while the suspect was handed to the Konshisha Police Divisional Headquarters, Tse Agberagba for further investigation.
