The woman, referred to as the “X user,” revealed that when her boyfriend proposed to her, she confided in her friend, who discouraged her by saying, “Don’t you want to enjoy your single life?” Consequently, she turned down the proposal and remained single.
A year later, the friend who had advised against marriage is now married with a child.
