A mom is on the receiving end of backlash from social media users as her new born daughter nearly loses her ears after it was pierced a week after birth.

The image was shared to the microblogging platform X, by user, @Jayclipstv, who lamented the state of the baby’s ears.

According to him, the mother had pierced the baby’s ears one week after she was born and that was the unfortunate result.

The baby had a little part of her ear lobe cut off as a result of the growing infection from the piercing injury.
