Man counts blessings after running from UK back to Nigeria

A young Nigerian man, Yimika Owoaje who had lived in the UK for three years recounts the doors of opportunities that opened following his return to Nigeria.

Despite potential concerns about the unstable dollar rate and electricity issues in Nigeria, Yimika shared in a passionate video why he decided to come back.

Drawing from his experiences in the UK, Yimika emphasized the value of community as one of humanity’s greatest gifts.

He expressed gratitude for being engaged and finding job opportunities since his return. Despite challenges like electricity and the like, Yimika mentioned that he is enjoying his life in Nigeria.

In addition to building his career in the country, Yimika also expressed his eagerness to give back to the community as part of his future plans.

“After 3 years of living in the UK, I did a reverse Japa and I’ve moved back to Naij for the foreseeable future. Community is important to me. Being back in Nigeria, I have resolved to play whatever role I can to grow our steadily growing entertainment industry. There’s a lot of work to be done, but I’m sure we can rise to the occasion together!” he captioned the video.
