Reno Omokri Criticises Peter Obi Over Comments On Alleged Lagos Deportation

It is incredibly hypocritical for Peter Obi to criticise the Lagos State Government for the alleged deportation of homeless people to their state of origin in Osun state.

On Thursday, August 1, 2013, Peter Obi, as Governor of Anambra State, falsely alleged that the Lagos State Government, under then Governor Tunde Fashola, had deported homeless Anambra indigenes and then proceeded to threaten to deport people of mostly Yoruba origin from Anambra.

Additionally, on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, Mr. Obi ordered the review of the employment of all non-indigenes, including those of Southeast origin, from the Anambra State Civil Service.

With such a record, Mr. Obi lacks the moral authority to criticise Lagos or any other state for taking action to protect their state. Especially as Lagos has employed hundreds of Anambra indigenes in her civil service. How many Lagosians did Obi employ when he was Governor?

This Gbajue grandstanding and gaslighting must not be allowed to go unchallenged.
