Lagos Residents Storm CBN Office To Deposit Old N500 And N1000 Notes (Video)

Videos shared online showed a sea of heads struggling to gain access to the CBN office to deposit the old Naira notes that have since ceased to be legal tenders.

There is a massive crowd at the Central Bank of Nigeria annex located in Marina, Lagos state as Nigerians stormed the building to deposit their old N500 and N1000 notes.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari during the live broadcast on Thursday, February 16, stated that the old N500 and N1000 notes are no longer legal tenders and should be deposited to the CBN.
