Fire guts Kaduna government secretariat
Kaduna State Government Secretariat located at Independence Way has been gutted by fire.
An eyewitness and a civil servant with the state government, Malam Ibrahim Mohammed, told Daily Trust the fire started at about 2:30 pm on Wednesday, May 22.
While no life was lost, furniture and other items in some offices got burnt. The cause of the fire is also yet to be ascertained but it is suspected to have been triggered by a power surge.
