PDP Publicity Secretary Appologizes For Its Failure In Abia For 24 Years
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Abia State, South-East Nigeria has tendered an open apology to the people of the State for what it says was, “not meeting their expectations” while in power for about 24 years in the State.
The Party is however appealing for another chance, promising to make amends.Acting State Publicity Secretary, Abraham Amah who addressed journalists after a stakeholders meeting in Umuahia, says the lessons learnt from their mistakes will be used to chat a new course for the party in the State.
He is happy that the PDP across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State is still intact, despite becoming the opposition.
Amah praised the resilience and oarty spirit of the members under what he describes as hostile state and national governments.
The Umuahia meeting is the first by the Abia State PDP stakeholders, since the party suffered humiliating defeat in the 2023 general elections.
