A newly married man has taken to social media to rant about the denomination of money sprayed on him by guests at his wedding in Benin.
A video making the rounds on social media captured the lamentation of a groom who received N20, N50, and N100 notes in bulk at his wedding.
According to him, despite paying for an expensive hall and providing surplus food and drinks for his guests, they refused to spray him N1000, or N500 notes.
He also complained about the condition of the notes for not being mint notes but torn and damaged naira notes.
“See wetin una dey spend, una come wedding chop chop even pack go house, do you know how much i paid for the hall?” he said in part.
