Professor Aisha Maikudi becomes youngest UniAbuja Acting VC
Professor Aisha Maikudi has been announced as the acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, following a meeting by the university’s senate.
41-year-old Professor Maikudi succeeds Professor Abdulrasheed Na’allah, the institution’s sixth Vice Chancellor, whose tenure would end on June 30.
The senate approved her appointment pending the selection of a substantive Vice Chancellor by the university’s governing council.
Prior to this new role, Maikudi, a professor of international law, served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics at the university.
