Man loses mother’s ₦500k to virtual bet, pleads for help in viral video
A Nigerian man broke down in tears on social media, sharing a video of himself crying and pleading for help after losing his mother‘s ₦500k in a virtual betting game.
The video, posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), shows the distraught man begging for assistance, explaining that he had used his mother’s money to gamble.
In one of the videos, he tearfully says, “Everyone help me, I’m going to die. Please help me. I lost ₦500k to virtual betting. This is my mother’s money, not mine. Please, I’m going to die.”
He also shared a second video displaying the receipt of the ₦500,000 withdrawal from the account, with the funds being taken by the gaming company.
