Businessman breaks down, bids farewell to wife and kids as robbers steal ₦70m worth of goods
A businessman has taken to social media, tearfully bidding farewell to his wife and children after his store was robbed of goods worth ₦70 million.
In a series of posts on TikTok, the man is seen crying while speaking to someone on the phone.
One post carries a heartbreaking caption in which he contemplates giving up. It reads, “To my wife, I love you so much. To my kids, I love you and want a good life for you. Depression is real; I hope to find peace now because I have tried my best, and I see no way forward.”
In another post, he detailed the robbery, revealing the extent of his loss.
He wrote, “As a security guard, you witnessed robbers attacking your workplace and did nothing while they rolled out my safe box containing goods worth over ₦70 million. You only started calling for help after they carried it away. Explain to me how this makes sense.”
As his posts circulated online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to express their thoughts and support.
