Entrepreneur reveals why foreign donors prefer to donate to the North rather than to the East

An entrepreneur has shared why foreign donors prefer to give aid and grants to States in Northern Nigeria and not to the East.
She explained that many Nigerians from the East have built mansions in their rural communities, and this she claims makes foreign investors believe they are well-to-do and not in need of development efforts.
The entrepreneur shared this on Facebook, writing: “Igbo people una don use big big houses chase oyibo people wey won support rural communities.
“See me speaking English to get approval to do intervention program in the South, oyibo say those guys aren’t poor they’re very rich.
“Everyone is saying North, North North.
“People wey hunger dey catch no dey South?”
Other development enthusiasts agreed with her and shared their experiences in the comment section.
