Pastor Tobi not facing deportation – Lawyer refutes report
Dele Olawanle, lawyer to pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has refuted claims of deportation of the pastor.
Recall that reports had made rounds that the Nigerian pastor whose church was shut down over alleged fraud in the UK, lost his deportation battle and is set to be deported to Nigeria.
However, in a statement on Wednesday, Olawanle refuted these claims, stating that the pastor is not facing a deportation from the United Kingdom.
He stated that the newspaper that carried the news is ignorant, adding that what it really means is elementary immigration laws for journalists.
He maintained that deportation is for criminals which pastor Tobi is not, as he was not found guilty of any crimes.
