Man criticized for bragging about how his wife begged him to marry her
A Nigerian man has sparked outrage online after sharing how his wife allegedly begged him to marry her after years of dating.
In his post, Prince Ozed on Facebook recounted an intimate moment that led to their marriage even though the idea of settling down had not crossed his mind.
“Guy marry me nah, you don’t too phuck me,” that was the statement from Comfort Ozed after one good early morning knack that year.
“Me: Tell your people that I’m coming to see them next week. Na so I take marry my wife oh. Girls, please sometimes remind your guy to marry you, sometimes we dey forget. (My True life),” he wrote.
The post quickly went viral, drawing heavy criticism from social media users who accused him of disrespecting his wife and trivializing their relationship.
One commenter wrote, “This is embarrassing. Why would you put such a private moment online and make it seem like you did her a favor by marrying her?”
Another user added, “A husband should protect his wife’s dignity, not use her words for clout.”
As the backlash grew, many urged Prince to consider deleting the post and apologize to his wife for airing their private affairs in such a disrespectful manner.
