Businesswomen shock internet with business price hike and memo to flight-booking clients

Two Nigerian ladies have sparked reactions online after announcing a price increase in their business and issuing a memo to clients who book flights for them.
This development was revealed in a post that has gone viral on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In the post, one of the women disclosed that their charges for 2024 would no longer apply in 2025, emphasizing an impending price hike. Her business partner echoed the statement in agreement.
The duo also addressed clients who book flights to bring them to another state, clarifying that airfare is not a service fee but merely a means of transportation.
They insisted clients would still need to pay for their services.
One of them wrote: “Dear esteemed customers, please note that this year’s price will not be the same as last year’s price. For those saying, ‘I’m in another state, let me book a flight for you,’ understand that a flight is not an achievement—it’s just transportation.”
She continued: “Don’t assume booking a flight covers everything. That’s just the beginning. You’ll still need to pay for my services.”
Adding humor to their message, she noted that clients would also need to cover hotel expenses, laughing with her partner as she remarked, “The hotel you take me to, won’t you pay for it? You must pay me for my ikpu.”
The post has since drawn significant attention, with many sharing their thoughts in the comments section.
