INEC presidential election collation officer in the state, Prof. Shehu Abdurrahman, said the LP candidate scored 466,272 votes, while the APC candidate scored 307,195 votes.
Peter Obi has won the presidential election in Plateau State.
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party defeated the candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar respectively to clinch victory.
Announcing the results on Monday, the INEC presidential election collation officer in the state, Prof. Shehu Abdurrahman, said the LP candidate scored 466,272 votes, while the APC candidate scored 307,195 votes.
He added that the PDP scored 243,808 to take the third position, while NNPP polled 8,869 to pick the fourth position.
Mr Obi of the LP won in 11 out of the 17 LGAs of the state, while APC and PDP won in 3 LGAs each.
