Man uses money meant for child’s naming ceremony to conduct DNA test
A Nigerian man has stunned the internet by revealing that he used the money meant for his child’s naming ceremony to conduct a DNA test to confirm if the child is truly his.
The revelation was made in a post that quickly gained attention on the popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).
In the post, he shared details of his actions and the age of his child. His statement read: “This month will mark my baby’s 8th month. Six months ago, I did my baby’s DNA. Omo, I won’t lie, I haven’t done the naming ceremony because I used the money for the DNA test. When I saw the results, I noticed how my woman was looking at me with bad eyes, but in my mind, I’m a happy man.”
He went on to explain that his wife was initially hesitant to accompany him to the hospital for the test, but after making certain comments, she followed him.
He added: “At first, she didn’t want to answer me, but once I made allegations that the child wasn’t mine, that’s why she was refusing the DNA, she immediately started crying and followed me.”
