A Nigerian lady has issued a warning after losing a family member to a tragic fire incident caused by taking a phone close to a cooking gas.
She shared the heartbreaking story on her page on X (formerly Twitter), urging the public not to place their phones near gas cylinders or cookers.
In her post, she wrote: “Please don’t carry your phones near open flame 🙏🏾 I just lost my cousin this morning.”
She further explained the cause of the incident, saying: “It was a cooking gas explosion. I feel everyone should be aware of the dangers by now. It’s all very true.”
