Lovely exchange between Oby Ezekwesili and Olusegun Obasanjo as she insists he says “thank you” (video)
Oby Ezekwesili and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo were filmed engaging in an adorable conversation at the former President’s birthday party.
Obasanjo’s 88th birthday party held on Sunday, March 2, at The Delborough Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event was attended by top politicians, dignitaries, and other influential figures.
As Obasanajo gave a speech to express his gratitude to guests, former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili is seen telling him to say “thank you.”
He did as she said as others at her table watched them, amused.
“Have I not said thank you?” Obasanjo asked after giving in to her request.
Mrs Ezekwesili responded, “You should say, ‘I thank you very much’.”
Obasanjo playfully punched her on the head then said loudly for all to hear, “thank you very much” as everyone, including Mrs Ezekwesili, clapped.
