Nyesom Wike appeals to Edo state governor, Monday Okpebholo, not to probe his predecessor, Godwin Obaseki’s govt

FCT Minister and former Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, has appealed to the governor of Edo state, Monday Okpebholo, not to probe the government of his predecessor, Godwin Obaseki.
Last week, the former governor of the state and APC chieftain, Adams Oshiomole, asked Governor Okpebholo to begin the probe of Obaseki’s government. He made the call shortly after the Supreme court upheld Okpebholo’s election.
Wike who was in Edo state on Sunday July 13, appealed to Okpebholo to jettison the plans for a probe and allow things be. He however advised Okpebholo to start the probe the moment Obaseki begins to give him any trouble.
