Atiku Abubakar resigns from PDP
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has officially resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
. His resignation from the party comes weeks after he joined members of the Coalition group to adopt the ADC as the party to kick out the ruling APC government from Aso Rock.
In his letter of resignation, Atiku hinged his decision to resign on the current trajectory of the PDP which he believes diverges from the fundamental principles the party stood for.
