Man raises concerns over drainage flaws on Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in viral video
A concerned Nigerian has shared a video highlighting what he described as poor drainage planning on some sections of the newly constructed Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
In the video, the man is seen pointing to areas where proper drainage was either missing or misplaced, raising fears about potential flooding or structural issues in the future.
“I’m on the coastal road and I don’t know the reason why drainage has not been put in its right position here,” he said while filming the site around Ogombo Road in Ajah, close to Landmark Estate Boulevard and behind Chartered House School.
He appealed to the relevant authorities to send engineers to assess and correct the situation, noting that this wasn’t the only section affected.
“This is not the only place we have this,” he added. “We have this on several parts of the road.”
