Update: Mama Pee detained at state CID in Edo state over faceoff with Abure at the airport
The police in the Edo state police command have detained Precious Oruche aka Mama Peace over her faceoff with Julius Abure, the factional chairman of Labour party.
Earlier today, Mama Pee spotted Abure at the airport and confronted him over the internal wranglings in the party. She accused him of destroying the party. Later, she released a video accusing him of sending thugs to attack her at the airport after she confronted him.
In an update given on X, Yunusa Tanko, the interim Chairman of Obidient Movement Worldwide, said Mama P has been detained at state CID @ Edo state police headquarters off sapele road Benin city.
