Lady Shares Shocking Chat From Scammer Pretending To Be Bank Staff
Young lady shares a chat with a scammer pretending to be a staff from the bank who tried to rob her of her hard-earned money.
A Twitter user identified as @BaybeeMaris took to the platform to pen a complaint to a bank over her pending cash reversal. A scammer, however, moved the conversation to Whatsapp with the intention to obtain sensitive information.
Despite knowing the plan all along, the lady played along and then threw a trending joke about Labour Party which the scammer responded to accurately.
In her words;
“So I made a complaint about how UBA Is yet to refund my money from a POS transaction that was declined ,I tagged them but one werey replied said he’s from UBA😂💔.I already knew he was a Scammer but i pretended I was clueless lol.Honestly I wasn’t prepared for that response😩🤣.”
