The arrest took place at Gwammaja area of Dala Local Government Area of the state.
The Managing Director of a Kano state-owned transport service, Bashir Nasiru Aliko has been arrested by the Kano State Police Command for allegedly disrupting the voting process and snatching ballot boxes.
The Kano Line boss was arrested alongside six others.
